Revolutionizing Education in South Africa
BSG and Technologies Combined Private School is the brainchild of Ms. BS Gumede, an award-winning innovator, crowned Miss Tech Universe 2024/25 and Miss Dot Africa 2022. The school is the latest in a series of groundbreaking initiatives under BSGT, a company dedicated to improving education and opportunities for youth, especially in underserved communities.
Along with the success of her ECD Coding and Robotics Programme, which has impacted over 540 schools in the uMkhanyakude District and now adopted largely at KZN and Gauteng, Ms. Gumede has created a unique educational institution that aligns with 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) standards.
Meet the Visionary Behind BSGT
Ms. Gumede, a proud South African entrepreneur, holds a BSc in Microbiology and Hydrology. Her passion for technology and education led her to develop various successful initiatives, including an online shop for artisans and an online platform for teaching coding and robotics to children as young as 4 years old. Her work has earned her global recognition, inspiring her to create an institution where innovation meets education.
